About Us
SHINE On Purpose, Inc. was founded in 2009 by three women who were compelled to respond to the overwhelming need of services for under-served girls and women. Although new in its inception, SHINE On Purpose is ran by women with extensive backgrounds in youth and women services.
With a strong emphasis on bringing together people from diverse ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds, SHINE On Purpose has a distinguished approach to the development of girls and young women.
Our focus and goals are linked directly to our mission of nurturing, empowering and transforming the lives of under-served girls and women by building academic and social competence through relevant mentorship, professional development, educational and Christian-based programs to achieve their full potential.
In this way, we strive to build on our experience of empowering girls and women to become caring, strong, and productive contributors to their communities.
